Melody is a very sweet young mixed breed girl. We really aren't sure of her breed mix, we are just guessing. She may have some Corgi or some other smaller breed in her as she is somewhat short legged. She is @ 35 lbs, and @ 1 year old. Melody loves other dogs, but is a litle shy, skittish right now. She needs to gain confidence. Going to a home with another dog will help and a patient person to help her come out of her shell. We are looking for a foster home and/or of course an adoptive home. We had to work with her to just get her out of the kennel. A few days later she gained more confidence and is a happy, fun-loving girl! She has really come out of her shell at home now that she gained our trust. Melody watches our 6 year old lab mix Lucy and wants to do everything Lucy does. She loves giving us kisses, chewing on bones, and adores playing with Lucy. Whenever we leave the house we put her in the kennel. Melody is a young girl that loves to run around with shoes and anything else she can reach, so constant supervision is required! We are currently working on leash training. She is still a little bit hesitant with getting leashed and making the first few steps outside. Having an older dog is definitely helping her training.
