**Courtesy Posting** Phoebe is a beautiful purebred Chocolate Lab who is estimated to be 4-5 years old and she weighs about 45 pounds. Phoebe was found as a stray in a rural community and she was never claimed. We believe she may have experienced some abuse in her life prior to being rescued. She is nervous in new situations, but once she warms up she will be your best friend. Phoebe's personality has blossomed through continued socialization in her foster home and she has gained a remarkable amount of confidence. Phoebe has excellent house manners and is trustworthy to leave out in the house when no one is home. She gets along great with other dogs and cats as well as children. Phoebe would enjoy an active family that would be willing to walk her daily or play with her in a yard and she would enjoy the companionship of another playful dog. She can jump a 4 foot fence so monitoring her outside is a must. Phoebe is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350 and a home visit is required.
