Shepherd (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Large
Ike is a beautiful white shepherd boy, he is an outside dog (in a southern state) and the people that have him kind of saved him from another unwanted situation, but have too many dogs of their own. He is looking to get into rescue and get into an adopted home. Ike is a large male, probably @ 70 lbs. He is probably 2-4 years old. He has been fully vetted and is doing great. He gets along with female dogs, but not so great with other male dogs. He might be able to be better socialized around other dogs and do fine eventually but right now he seems to not be crazy about them. It could be that he lived on a chain outside or in a pen and became naturally territorial. Alot of time these dogs do change once they are in a loving home and get proper exposure to different experiences, situations, etc.
Ike does love outside so would be good to go to a home where he can be outside plenty and/or an active home that will get him out for walks (or possibly dog parks if he ok with other males, etc. ) Anyway!
