From Scruffy’s foster mom: Scruffy is an adorable little 20-25 lb. wire terrier mix with a super cute personality to match. He’s likely about a year old (or less) and still has a lot of puppy energy. He is fully potty trained, crate trained, and understands some basic commands like sit and stay. He is learning to play fetch and brings the ball back, once he plays keep away for a while. He rolls over and drops the ball out the side of his mouth when he’s ready to give it up. It’s so cute! A home with another playful dog would be great for him, as he loves every dog he meets; Cats, not so much. Scruffy has a dominant personality along with some misdirected puppy energy and really needs an experienced and confident dog (terrier) owner to help him be a great dog. He is eager to please and does not like to be scolded. He bonds very hard with his person and maybe territorial with others at times. He would do best with a terrier experience owner. He is a darling little dog and just needs some consistency and patience. Are you the right one for Scruffy?
