Jake needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Jake is @ 5 year old Australina Cattle dog or Blue Heeler. He is about 30 lbs He is looking for a forever home. This is an active, intelligent breed that needs an active lifestyle. Of all the breeds, this type likes a job to do, they are often considered, "farm dogs" because they are a herding breed and very aware of their territory and duties and responsibilities. Our policy is the dog must live indoors with the family, so if you are looking for an outside farm dog, this isn't your boy, but if you have land and you let your dogs live inside with you, but spend plenty of time outside, we'd love to talk with you. If Jake got adopted more locally to the twin cities, the home would need to be able to provide him with lots of activity, hikes, walks, dog park, going places, etc. If you are interested in adopting Jake, please let us know.
