Bella is a beautiful corgi/terrier mix, about 2-3yrs old approximately.

Here is an update from Bella's foster home:

She is now confident enough to ask for attention from her people and generally plays well with our two dogs.  Her rough-house play can escalae, though, so if other dogs are in the adoptive home, they would ideally be about her size or smaller and/or have mellow personalities.  She accepts toothbrushing well, so the adoptive family can avoid dental bills from the vets.  She is making good advances in walking on a leash, but she will need further training in this area.

Bella loves to cruise our fenced back yard, chasing away all kinds of critters - squirrels, chipmunks and rabbits, for example- in fact, she just loves the outdoors.  She has played fetch with us and cuddles.  She also enjoys her chew toys.

  She will alert the homeowner to strangers at the door or in the yard by barking.    She responds well to commands (come, sit, quiet, no) and comes to a whistle as well.  She is easy to train and wants to please her people.

  When she plays with our dogs, we have to watch for 'rough house' types of play because that can escalate.  I sense that she doesn't start the rough house play, though, so this may not be a problem if the adoptive family's other dogs have mellow personalities.  One of our dogs is a little on the hyper side.  Older, nurturing children would be okay, but not younger or hyper children.

  She's had a vet evaluation for some of her intial anxiety and has stated that she is very adoptable.
