Meet Max! He's a pug/Chihuahua mix (best guess), pulled from a rural Kentucky animal shelter. He is friendly, good with other dogs and people. Max is a total sweetheart. He will greet you at the door with his tail wagging ready for affection, and likes to be close to his person. He has some fears that he's working on from his time in the shelter, but he's getting more and more comfortable every day. The first few days he spent a lot of time hiding, especially during thunder storms. Now he comes to greet his foster mom when she comes home and loves cuddling on her lap and going for walks by her side. Max hasn't made a peep since we got him over a week ago, not a single bark out of him, so if you're picturing a barky chihuahua, that's not Max at all. He is also house trained.
