Pappi is a very sweet, male Mountain Cur mix. He is possibly @ 5-6 years old, @ 35-40 lbs. He is a super sweet boy with a rock solid temperament. Very, very sweet breed. Pappi is great with other dogs, kids, but seems a little too interested in cats, not sure he would harm them but focuses on them. He is the type of boy that doesn't really want to offend, can be very sweet and meek, but also gets activated and exhuberant with other happy dogs. (Pappi is an excellent dog park dog!) Pappi is housetrained and doesn't even need to be kenneled-non destructive. Pappi is an overlooked gem!! We think he would do best in a house with another dog, so if you are looking for a nice, easy to mix buddy for your existing dog, please come and fall in love with Pappi!

Mountain Cur is a southern breed, a hunting breed. This is a great breed, they make terrific companions and probably do a good job to keep bunnies and squirrels out of your yard.

In order to foster, you must reside within 40 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  If you are not within this radius but are interested in adopting, please fill out the pre adoption form and we can connect you with the foster home when the dog is here and ready to meet families.
