Jake is a very smart, cool young heeler mix. Jake is a male shepherd/heeler mix, 1-2 years old. Jake is a handsome (beautiful, soft coat), curious boy. He is playful (humans, other dogs and squeaky toys) and loves to engage in whatever you are doing both inside and outside the home. He enjoys his daily walks and exploring the backyard. Jake is eager to learn and is learning basic commands and house manners with his foster. He is also affectionate and always up for a scratch behind the ears or a belly rub! We believe he is housebroken (no accidents) and takes care of “business” when taken outside. Despite coming from a shelter in the south, he is well balanced with a great demeanor and seems very healthy! Jake is crate trained and motivated by cheese and soft training treats. He would do well in an environment that recognizes his love for activity and exercise. Jake’s ears are indicative of his playful nature!
