Teddy is a very sweet dog, he came to us in a litter of pups. Teddy is a shy, socially regressed dog that will become comfortable and trusting with caregivers but is afraid of strangers. Teddy is not aggressive, but will bark and alert loudly when someone knocks on the door or strangers come near. He has a "flight reaction" where he wants to get away from what he is afraid of. He will do best in a home that is sympathetic to the shy dog. Teddy could live solo, but would probably get his best exercise and sense of companionship in a home with another dog. We are looking for a fenced in yard home for him, and preferably with another dog. Teddy could continue to make progress (maybe even a home where he gets taken to dog parks, etc. ) to help him overcome some of his phobias.
Teddy also was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at an early age. He has already had surgeries on both of his hips and is doing well. He runs around with other dogs and can have a normal life.
