Hi, I’m Maple Ann! I’m somewhere between 1 –2 years old, and about 40-45 pounds. I am looking for my forever family! My foster mom tells me that I’d be a good fit for a family. I like to give new people my belly so they can scratch it. My favorite place to be is right under your feet, but I do go into my crate at night and when mom and dad leave me at home to go to work. Sometimes they have to bribe me with a treat, and I’ve barked a few times because I was scared, but I am great at sleeping through the night in there.

I already know a few tricks, like sit, lay down, and I’m working on shake so that I can give you a proper hello when I meet you. My foster mom is working on my manners. Sometimes I jump when I get excited, and hadn’t been on a leash before I arrived at my foster home. I’m doing pretty well with the leash in the yard, but I still like to pull when I get on the sidewalks, so I’ll need a strong human for a little bit until I get more comfortable.

I love other dogs! My furry foster brother and I play tackle, and we like to share toys. My favorite thing to do is steal toys and make a pile of them that I can play with, so my future family would need to be okay with sharing, too.

I haven’t chewed on anything I wasn’t supposed to since arriving at my foster house, and I haven’t had any potty accidents. I’m pretty silly, and I like to sleep under the couch and use long curtains to play hide and go seek. I can’t wait to meet you!
