Ferguson is a very sweet male Tabby boy. He is approximately 2 years old and 11.1 lbs.

This is an exception to the usual rule, but we are looking for a home for Fergie where he can be outside most of the time (or at least when it's not freezing out).

Fergie was originally found as a barn cat and taken in and then ended up with us due to family circumstance. Fergie may have been taken from the barn life but the barn life has never left Fergie! He absolutely will whine and whine and whine to go outside.

He is oddly trustworthy outside too like never leaving a certain area, enjoying just hanging out in his usual spots (We understand the risks, but this cat is NOT content just to be a house cat).

Fergie is a little goofy though and does need the protection also of a home, (the option to come inside, be inside, go in and out, in and out) Fergie is unique in the sense that he loves to be outside but he's not the toughest guy around so he needs to have his little circle of influence but may need intervention if any tough Toms came around.

He is a lazy, loungy lover (for the most part), not a fighter, but he will posture and hiss and let other cats that are threatening (not so much non threatening ones) know that this is his turf.

Deep down inside he is like a fluffy dough boy, a little naive and silly really for having lived outside so much. He can stand his ground but he's not a true toughey. Fergie likes to be pet and cuddled at times- but on his terms or when he's in the mood. He loves to find a chair or cat tower to lounge on, if in a porch where he can just keep looking outside that is ideal! (This cat is obsessed with outdoors). He also demands to have wet food 2x a day. He's a bit ponchy so how much can be regulated (has access to dry food also).

Fergie's perfect home would be where he could go in and out at leisure but the homeowner is savvy and aware of where the Ferg Ferg is, to get or let him inside, to ensure he is safe and content, all that. I know this is a very unusual situation and circumstance, we have never met a cat like Fergie. 
Country home might be ok but would worry about Coyotes. He actually has proven that he can live in the city or residential area and just hang in the same reachable area, but would want to make sure not near busy street things like that (even though he never ventures toward street he seems to have an intuitive uncanny understanding of dangers. 

Fergie is fully vetted, neutered, current rabies and FVRCP and feline leuk/fiv negative and given Feline Leuk prevention vaccine, dewormed and kept on Revolution plus.
