Sierra is a sweet and beautiful female Red Heeler mix. She is @ 2 years old and @ 54 lbs. She came to Minnesota on 09/05/20 from Kentucky and is doing so well. She has been fostered with 2 males dogs but has gone after the alpha a few times (probably trying to displace) and we think she should probably be the only dog (pet). She is living with a cat too, so far that has been ok. She does show a prey drive toward outdoor critters and is nose to the ground in tracking sometimes. She loves being outside. She probably lived outside in Kentucky where she came from.

We are seeking a heeler savvy home. She may need a home where she has a job to do or can be outside alot.
She is an amazing smart, rugged, hearty dog. She would be awesome for someone who understands the breed, is very active and could provide her with the outdoorsy jobe or adventure she would love.

Sierra needs a home where she has plenty of space to roam, either acreage or large fenced in area. She would love to go for walks, hikes, maybe the bike thing but you would need to take precautions with her in terms of her mixing with strange dogs in case she decided to be dominant with them.

Sierra loves people! No issues with people whatsoever. Loves everyone. She just is a dog that may always need to be managed around strange dogs coming into her territory.

Adoption fees range from $325-$650 + MN SALES TAX (youngest puppies usually on the higher end, if our vet spays or neuters them (otherwise young puppies $425 + MN SALES TAX if adopter finishes their vetting with a signed spay/neuter contract) seniors on the low end, all others somewhere in between).
