Charisma is a pretty girl with the most STUNNING green eyes! At only about a year and a half old, poor Charisma found herself pregnant and in need of rescue. She arrived to us and promptly had SIX healthy kittens. Charisma has now weaned her kittens, and is looking for her forever home. Charisma lives up to her name. She is sweet, devoted, and gorgeous. She is reminiscent of the actresses from the 30s and 40s like Lauren Bacall and Katharine Hepburn. Dazzling, smart, and brave. And just a wee bit dramatic. She is mostly quiet when you're in the same room as her but she ranges from chirps to howls if there's a closed door between you and her. Charisma's a lovebug that wants to be with you. She's independent too though - She may want to be in the same room as you but she'll want to explore that room and then casually walk over and plop down next to you with her head leaning against your legs. She loves to be petted. Her bright green eyes will be filled with such happiness when you pet her tummy or between her ears! Charisma's love for other animals is not quite so simple though. She's reacted both well and not-so-well to other cats. She loved the cat in her 1st foster home and would snuggle with him. But, she's been hissy with the cats in her 2nd foster home. An ideal home would be with someone who is only away from home less than 5 hours a day and with no pets. We're n ot sure how she is with dogs. Charisma has tested FeLV/FIV negative, been regularly dewormed, microchipped, and has a spay appointment set with our vet on March 2nd - where she will also receive her rabies and distemper vaccines. Adoption fee includes her spay and these vaccines, though she MAY be adopted prior to surgery, to the right home. Adopter must acknowledge that there is the chance Charisma will go into heat before she gets spayed, and will be responsible for keeping her inside so she does not get pregnant again. Adopter will also be responsible for after-spay care, though no follow up appointments should be necessary. Interested in adopting?
