Bella is a friendly female doxi/terrier mix mix. She is between 1-2 years old and approx 15 lbs. She is a very sweet loving girl that likes to be with her people. Bella is vocal in new situations until she becomes acclimated. She gets along fine with other dogs after a slow, appropriate introduction and loves to play. She sometimes wants to bark and chase cats but gives up pretty easy and has started to ignore them! She's super sweet and loves attention, but a little on the timid side and will need time to adjust to any new home. Bella is vocal, so not suitable for apartment or townhome living. Bella has not been tested with kids, but given her history, older kids or kid-free home might be best. Bella was part of a hoarding case in Kentucky where she lived in a single wide trailer with SEVENTY other dogs, so foster and adopter will need to be patient and help her learn what it's like to live the good life!

In order to foster, you must reside within 40 miles of Minneapolis, MN. If you are not within this radius but are interested in adopting, please fill out the pre- adoption form and we can connect you with the foster home when the dog is here and ready to meet families.
Adoption fees range from $325-$650 (youngest puppies usually on the higher end, if our vet spays or neuters them (otherwise young puppies $450-$485 if adopter finishes their vetting with a signed spay/neuter contract) seniors on the low end, all others somewhere in between).
