**We are seeking an adoptive home for Olive that has another confident, kind dog, and a fenced in yard. Please do not apply if you don't have both of these!* Say hello to Olive (FKA "Little Bit")! This brindle beauty is an affectionate, kind, and inquisitive gal. She is approximately 8 months old and about 15-20 lbs. We are guessing she might be a feist/terrier mix, and should stay pretty small! Olive is currently working hard learning how to be a big girl, gaining some good leash manners, and doing a nice job learning not to pull or jump while on the lead. She's learning basic commands, like ‘sit’ and ‘down’. She is also learning ‘Off’, as in off the furniture or off a lap! Olive is also doing well in the potty-training department. We are still working on crate training, though she seems to have no issues being in her crate! She sleeps through the night in her crate and hangs out in there during human meal-time. This darling girl enjoys playing with her ball, especially learning to retrieve and drop it. She of course loves her Nylabone and Bully Sticks, to keep her occupied. She also enjoys watching TV, especially shows with dogs in them (Pooch Perfect, or Cesar Millan)! She is very inquisitive about the cat in her foster home, but the cat wants nothing to do with her. As she meets dogs on the leash she is curious as well, but also a bit timid. We think she would do great with an older, kind, calm dog as a sibling to bring her out a her shell a bit and give her confidence! Olive has not been around kids, but does seem interested in them, though cautious, when meeting them on walks. Interested in adopting Olive? Please complete an adoption interest form on our website!
