Harley is 6 months old and weighs 32 lbs. He came into rescue from a southern pound with his 4 siblings. He is appropriately submissive to an older, bigger foster dog. Harley's coloring is red merle - dark colored patches in his coat and he has one partial blue eye. His adult weight is hard to estimate because of his unknown breed mix, but he should be 45-50 lbs. Harley is an affectionate dog who would love to brighten your home if given the opportunity! He loves to be petted and is so excited to see you when you come home! Harley and his siblings came into a rescue in Kentucky when they were just 10 weeks old. Harley is not fearful of people he is not familiar with, but is excited and wants to go with them when they leave! Harley easily goes into a kennel, with a treat. At night he is free to roam the house but usually you will find him sleeping in his kennel. Harley loves to run around the backyard playing with his siblings. Inside he chews on stuffed toys, rawhide, bully sticks and his siblings, playfully! There is a cat in the foster home, but he who prefers to stay in the basement with 3 puppies around! Harley is doing great with house training and sleeps through the night in his kennel without making a peep! He is an active puppy and loves to play with his siblings. He is the largest of his siblings. PLEASE NOTE: As a foster-based rescue, we don't have a facility for visits with multiple animals. Meet & greets with dogs are arranged one the pre-adoption application has been received, processed, reviewed, AND approved. Puppy adoption fee is $450.00 + tax for the age appropriate vetting they have had so far (2 DHPP vaccines, deworming on a schedule, and will come with microchip). Puppies will still need: 1-2 more DHPP vaccines and a rabies on an age appropriate schedule, and eventual spay or neuter (recommended when closer to 5 1/2- 6 months old). If you would like the puppy altered at our vet, the adoption fee increases to $650.00 + tax (adopter is responsible for the in between vaccines).
