Say hello to this pretty Persian girl, Meow Meow! She was surrendered to us when her former owner could no longer care for her. She is approx 6 years old, front declawed, and has the sweetest meow and disposition.

Meow Meow is a funny little lady. She mostly keeps to herself but does love a good scratch and enjoys being brushed. So far she gets along with other cats and dogs as long they are not pushy and mean to her. They can coexist peacefully. Same with children: as long as they are respectful and loving she has no issues!

Persian cats require daily grooming and occasional professional groom or “lion cut” to keep their coat smooth and untangled. Their undercoat is susceptible to matting which can be very uncomfortable. You'll see one photo in her bio of Meow Meow pre-lion cut, to get an idea of her coloring.

Meow Meow would do best in a home that truly committed to keeping up with her needs. Most Persian cats are a little snooty and prefer to have a very clean and large litter box. She has had no accidents while in foster care, but was said to have "litterbox issues" when she was surrendered.

*Please note that Meow Meow has an adoption fee that is higher than normal, due to the care she needed when she was surrendered to us. Meow Meow came with no previous vet records, so all standard tests and vaccines were performed. She was also severely matted and needed a sedation package to shave her down thoroughly and safely. Additionally, Meow Meow had a dental cleaning that included one extraction.*
