Garrett is a German Shepherd, (mix?) around 62 lbs and 1-2 years old. Garret is smart as a whip and would excel at being trained. He is super responsive when you give him direction and commands, albeit sometimes acting like a silly, happy, puppy, but you can "feel" his intelligence when you meet him. 

This dog would be amazingly responsive to training or agility, etc. 

Garret upon being introduced to two other dogs at his foster home was immediately friendly with them and was playful. 

He might be a little bit more territorial once he has established turf to a dog coming on his turf, but he seems awesome when being brought somewhere and meeting new dogs. 

Garrett is as friendly as can be. He is open, gregarious and happy with people. It seems Garrett's philosophy is "Life if like a party right?" He loves people, is warm and engaging and loves to have fun or just be with you. 

Garret has a foster home but they will be traveling soon so we will need a new one soon and/or of course he needs an adoptive home.

In order to foster, you must reside within 40 miles of Minneapolis, MN. If you are not within this radius but are interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption interest application and we can connect you with the foster home when the dog is here and ready to meet families.

Adoption fees range from $350-$650 (youngest puppies usually on the higher end, if our vet spays or neuters them. Otherwise, young puppies are $450-$485 if adopter finishes their vetting with a signed spay/neuter contract). Adoption fees for senior dogs are on the low end, all others somewhere in between.
