Bear needs a foster home. We are looking for a foster home for Bear with a fenced in yard, and another dog.

Bear 2 is a beautiful Herding breed mix (our best guess) male dog. Bear is about 2 years old and very sweet. He is super smart and will be a fun rugged companion. Right now he is a little shell shocked coming into rescue. He used to live outside in rural Kentucky and is getting used to living in a home. He may do best with another dog in the house to give him more confidence (We aren't sure but usually that is the case with dogs who are scared or under socialized. You can tell Bear wants to trust and learn. He is a very special dog and we want him to have a wonderful life. He will be a great dog park dog and a dog you could go on hikes with, maybe take to the cabin, get out in the great outdoors with. He is good with other dogs, cats and kids, but older kids because he is still so skittish.
