Phoenix is a very smart, loving, snuggly, energetic puppy that loves her belly rubbed or ears scratched. She plays hard and sleeps hard. We are working on being gentle as she can sometimes play rough with toys. She is a little lover and wants to cuddle when it's nap time. I am so impressed with how smart she is! By far the easiest puppy I have been around. If she needs to go potty, she will go by the patio door and whine. She is 90% potty trained but doesn't give a huge amount of time before she has to go. If she does go potty in the house, it has been on the potty pads that are right by the door. She is very easy going and easily distracted with a toy when trying to chew on pant legs, shoes, etc. She loves bones and playing with the big dogs. She especially loves snow. She has the "zoomies" when she goes outside but comes to her name when called. She has been sitting consistently for her meals and treats. She fetches her toys and brings them back.We are working on laying down but can be distracted with the cat or other dogs that are around which is typical for a puppy. She is very food driven and will do just about anything for a treat. She allows me to trim her nails without a care and gets along with our cat in a controlled environment (she is just so excited to play and he can be grumpy at times.) She will be a great furbaby to any loving family!

PLEASE NOTE: As a foster-based rescue, we don't have a facility for visits with multiple animals. Meet & greets with dogs are arranged one the pre-adoption application has been received, processed, reviewed, AND approved. Puppy adoption fee is $450.00 + tax for the age appropriate vetting they have had so far (2 DHPP vaccines, deworming on a schedule, and will come with microchip). Puppies will still need: 1-2 more DHPP vaccines and a rabies on an age appropriate schedule, and eventual spay or neuter (recommended when closer to 5 1/2- 6 months old). If you would like the puppy altered at our vet, the adoption fee increases to $650.00 + tax (adopter is responsible for the in between vaccines).
