Say hi to Miles! This handsome boy is approx 5 months old, and looking for a forever home! He's currently fostered with cats and young children, and this is what his foster has to say about him! Miles is such a sweet lovable little guy. It took him only two days to really open up to us, but he is cautious at first of new people/situations. He just wanted to sit and watch us and slowly got more brave and explored at his own pace. But now he’s really shown what a great personality he has! He really is happy to be near his person and is all around a pretty chill pup. Miles enjoys a romp in the morning, and afternoon, and is happy as a clam hanging out next to me or nearby while I work from home, plays in the yard with the family, or on the coach watching a family movie. He really loves to play with the cats and I am sure would love a dog playmate too. He’s been really great with my kids and likes to run around and play with them too. Sometimes I think he plays more “like a cat” because he loves to play with little things that skitter across the floor or likes trying to catch a stick or chew rope that I am waving around. He’s really such a cutie and has a wonderful temperament. He’s doing so well with going potty outside and goes to the slider and gives a little whine to let you know. He does need a little coaxing and a “go potty”, as he doesn’t tend to run out and do his business right away. I often walk out with him to do this. Miles has a big dog bark in his little body! He does tend to bark when he sees other dogs while in our yard. He’s quiet for the most part in the house though, unless he’s alerting to someone outside. He isn’t the biggest fan of the kennel and would much prefer to sleep on the bed or under the bed. But he is improving daily. Miles is still getting used to car rides - poor buddy gets anxious, barks, and drools. He is still a young pup so he’s learning not to jump up. He enjoys his bully sticks and hasn’t had any sort of destructive chewing though! Miles will make a lovely sweet companion for whoever is lucky enough to get him Interested in adopting?
