Salvador is a happy go lucky guy who gets along with other dogs, loves kids and overall is a great natured guy! He’s a 2 year old 72 lb German Shepherd, and due to a divorce and through no fault of his own, he is now looking for a new forever home.

Sal is as sweet and well behaved as a dog could be. He is completely housebroken. He barks very infrequently, loves to play with his squeaky toys, and enjoys a bone to chew on. Sal loves (and needs!) to go for a walk a couple times a day to stay active and entertained. He understands the word no and he has been trained to sit on command. Salvador still thinks he is a lap dog and will enthusiastically jump into your lap if you ask him to come up!

 

This beautiful boy needs a fenced in yard in his forever home. Though he has never tried to escape the fosters fenced yard, it is clear that he is able to jump quite high when chasing a squirrel! Having a fenced in yard will give him the freedom to run and play. The ideal home would be one without cats, but with older children that would enjoy playing with him and providing stimulation and exercise. Sal is very people-oriented and would love to be part of a family who is present!
 
Sal is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped, and ready to rock!
