Hi! I'm Agnes! You probably first noticed me because I’m SO cute and fluffy! But, you do need to know a few things other things about me if you're interested in making me your forever kitty. Even though I'm around 7 months old, I didn’t know humans until I was older - so they’re still kind of weird to me. I've come a long way in foster care in a short period of time, but I am still figuring out how to be a kitten. Even though I look big, I'm really just super fluffy - I only weigh around 5.5 lbs! I'll probably always be petite, but I'm getting fed really well so will likely get a bit bigger. I’m starting to know my name but only sometimes decide to acknowledge that the humans are talking to me. I will definitely need to be adopted into a home with another young, playful kitty. I LOVE to play... like, all night! So, if this bothers you, I’m not the right kitty for you! I love springs, balls, finger traps, and tunnels, and it’s even more fun when I can play with the toys all at once. When the humans put the toys away, I just get them out again! I am a great huntress, and am having so much fun being the kitten I couldn’t be in my prior life! I like my foster siblings a lot, and they make me comfortable. I try to play with them, but they don’t really want to play as much as I do. I live with three older kitties who look just like me! One of them is an old man and I am respectful of him. One of them is a boss lady who hisses at me. I even try to share my food with her, and she still doesn’t want to be my friend! The other kitty sometimes plays with me and we do have so much fun! The kitties are really helping show me the ropes in the house though. I also live with this REALLY big kitty that barks. He’s ok and his tail is fun. The big barking kitty isn’t scary and I don’t mind him at all. There are also these really small kitties in a cage that fly! They are fun to watch and I don’t try to go after them. I just like watching them because they squeak and move around a lot - especially at night! I don’t think I would do well with smaller humans under 12 because their sudden movements would startle me. But loud noises don’t scare me! I like the humans in my foster home because they give me lots of food. Sometimes they leave food on the counter, and I sneak up to eat it! Spaghetti tastes good. I like that the humans leave me alone and don't pressure me. At first, I was really scared anytime they were near, but I finally realized they weren’t following me or chasing me, and everything was okay. I also realized good things happen when humans are around- food, play, clean litterbox, and they make the other kitties happy too! Sometimes when I lay down, they will pet me and that feels nice. Now, I like to follow them around because they may have food!!! I still get nervous when they reach out towards me, but it’s getting less scary. I even smell their hands! Humans do this weird thing where I get lifted off the ground. I try to run away but once I’m up it’s not so bad and I relax. I do really well in my carrier, I like being brushed and even medicine isn't so bad to take! I use the litterbox like a pro. I love my food (wet, dry, AND treats), but I am not possessive or aggressive about my food. I like to have a safe space that is covered. I currently have a tiny tent I go in, or I just go under the bed. I am not one to hide much, but I do just need to know that I have somewhere to go that is all my own. I am really a beautiful little lady that is a work in progress! I need a patient adopter that will give me time and space to allow me to be comfortable in my environment. I will likely have a small setback when I go to my forever home before I continue to make progress. With patience, I can be a gregarious, fun, loving kitty.
