Petite Keys was brought to our attention by a Good Samaratin one hot July night, when she appeared in the parking lot at an apartment complex. She was just seeking attention, but unfortunately she recieved it in the wrong form - kids from the apartment building were taunting her and trying to kick her. We scooted over there and grabbed her immediately.
Keys settled in immediately at a foster home, and was overtly thankful and happy to have a soft bed, clean water, fresh food, and soft pets. She started purring and making biscuits immediately.... and hasn't stopped! Keys was however... pregnant when she arrived! Keys has now had her kittens, raised them wonderfully and with great care, and is now looking for her forever home.
Keys is confident without being pushy, mellow, and incredibly affectionate. She's very content watching the outdoors safely from behind a window now, and will always come to greet you. She loves to sleep with her person at night, and be close to them during the day. Keys is truly a well-behaved, respecful, and kind girl. Add on top the fact that she's one of the most unique looking kitties we've had (that black lipstick and button nose!!), and Keys is the package deal.
Weighing in at a petite 6lbs, Keys is estimated to be around 2-3 years old. Despite her rough start in life (with evidence by her frost-bitten ears!), she is proving that she's going to be WAY more happy as an indoor kitty. She's not shy, loves to talk, and is unbothered by the other cats and dogs in her foster home. Keys would do well in a home with existing pets, or as her own solo in a home with someone home a lot.
