Eddie needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Eddie is approx 3 years old and 25lbs - and clearly a Beagle! He is a sweet, silly, happy and kind. He gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids. Eddie would love a home with a fenced in yard. Here is what Eddie's foster family has to say about him: Eddie is a fantastic dog. Every stranger is just a friend that he hasn't met yet. Eddie LOVES people and snuggles. If you sit down, be prepared for Eddie to jump in you lap for snuggles or a hug. He currently sleeps in a crate at night, but he'd love to sleep in a bed with his people. He's great at calmly walking up to people. He's interested in meeting everyone, big or little. He's an easy walker and moves at a moderate pace. He is interested in squirrels and rabbits and does need encouragement to move on after seeing them. Eddie doesn't usually move fast, but he is speedy with the right motivation!
He fit right into our little pack of dogs. He does take a little bit of time to adjust to larger, high energy dogs. But after just a couple of days, he was ready to play with our 50 pound male, who never tires of playing. He ignores our boring, older cats, but we think he'd like to play or snuggle with a willing cat.
Eddie has learned how to sit and is doing well with house training. He is very food motivated and sometimes gets too excited to put both of his paws down in a sit. We have loved having Eddie in our home and hope he finds his forever home soon!
