Ace is a big, beautiful pup who is very playful and loves to cuddle! His favorite things are going to the dog park, chewing his red squeaky lobster toy, getting belly scratches, and taking naps. He loves to run around with other dogs and will play for hours!

He is a very social and exuberant dog that wants to meet everyone he encounters, human or canine. He is very friendly at the dog park, even with small kids. Despite being a large, excited puppy, he has not scared any kids at the park or barreled over anyone! He does however like to steal other dogs' toys and doesn't understand when others don't want to play with him.

He goes for at least two outtings each day. The dog park is definitely a better place for him than a walk on the leash because he loves to run and play. He does fairly well on the leash too, but it's hard to get him the exercise he needs that way.

At home, he is mostly house trained but he has had two pee accidents since he moved in two weeks ago. We have been working on it and he is getting better though! We typically go out every 2-3 hours. He's learning what "go pee" means and also expects a little treat when he does his business. When he needs to go outside he can be kind of subtle and his primary signal is a soft whimper.

Ace is used to spending some time in his crate every day while he's home alone. He's typically very quiet and he has spent up to 6 hours in there at a time. He doesn't seem to like having a blanket in there with him, but he does like to have a couples toys and treats to chew on!

Ace has not encountered any cats indoors yet, but he definitely wants to chase them down when he sees them outside. Whether he's excited or hungry, I can't say.

Overall, he is a very loveable boy that will make an excellent companion for anyone who wants to care for a big energetic pup!
