Don't let his name fool you, little Punkie is anything but a punk - he's the sweetest boy who will melt your heart the first time you look into his eyes! Found on the road in rural South Dakota, this little man is a bundle of love and cuddles. His DNA test tells us that he's 53% Husky and 12% German Shepherd... which is no surprise once you get to know him! Punk is estimated at about 5 months old and nearly 30 lbs now but we have no idea how big he'll get - he's a tall an lanky guy! He is doing fantastic with potty training, is crate trained, is great on the leash, and knows basic commands (sit, lay down, wait, shake) already. Punk has a huge spirit with a quirky personality, and is a great ball of happy puppy energy. He's very eager to please but gets distracted like a little kid, so he should definitely go to a forever home with another dog to show him the ropes. He knows how to mellow out though, and is a great cuddler. Punk is great with other dogs, and very respectful to kitties also. Punk LOVES spending time outside, so an active home with a fenced backyard with plenty of room to run around is a must.. An apartment wouldn't be a great living situation for him and his energy level. Interested in adopting?
