Shepherd / Basset Hound / Mixed (short coat) : : Male (neutered) Learn more about the Basset Hound.
Goose is a sweet mixed breed (Maybe Shep/Basset and other breeds). He has some serious foldy skin around his face. He is smaller than you would think, (shorter to ground),even though he weighs 65- 70 lbs. He's approx 7-8 years old and came to us from rural KY, where he spent his life living on a chain. Goose is truly one of the best and certainly the easiest of dogs we have had in rescue. He appreciated any little thing, he is very relaxed and mellow in the house. Non demanding. Grateful. He is being fostered in a home with another female dog and he does well with her. He is a very special dog, super "chill", mild-mannered, calm, yet appreciates all the love and attention, walks, stimulation he can get. In his current foster home he goes to the dog park every day and loves to follow his more dominant "dog mate foster girl") on her romps to try to get those squirrels! He is a squirrel nut, so will chase and bark at squirrels. Do you want to make up for lost time for this boy? And give him the life he's always dreamed of? Please let us know if you'd like to meet this special boy. Interested in fostering or adopting?
