Good morning! Meet Smuckers (7mo. 35lb fixed) - the Cattle Dog mix who is sweeter than all the jelly in the whole wide world!

Smuckers came to rescue a few days after a big snow storm and jumped into every single snowbank he could find! Smuckers is the jolly age of 7(ish) months. You know what that means? No puppy teeth! This little jar of jam is already showing that he is mostly potty trained, and walks right under foot on a leash. His foster mom said he wasn't the biggest fan of his crate, but he's learning to love it. Smuckers asks that we would let his future family to keep helping him while he keeps working on this new skill. He is much happier as a bed hog anyway! (I mean... bed dog) Smuckers leash skills are AMAZING for a pup of his age! He and his foster mom have been doing a lot of work on his leash manners, and he is showing all the right signs of being in tune with whomever is holding the leash!

Smuckers would thrive in a home with a yard and maybe another pup to keep him company. He would probably enjoy having some younger considerate tiny humans around to play with. He would enjoy having a yard because his tennis ball is obviously the coolest thing ever. LOVES to play fetch!!!

Smuckers is doing very well with his 6yo foster sister. They often trap their humans on the couch with cuddles.
