Meet Renault – The Sweetest Survivor You'll Ever Love!

Renault is, without a doubt, one of the most affectionate and gentle souls we've ever had the joy of rescuing. At just 2–3 years old and a petite 8 pounds, this little guy has already lived through more than most cats ever will. Rescued from an overpopulated outdoor colony, Renault spent his early life navigating daily dangers—scavenging for food, dodging farm equipment, and quite literally running from gunfire. But you’d never guess any of that by his personality.

Despite his rough start, Renault craves human love. He may be a little cautious at first, but once you earn his trust, he melts into your hands, soaking up every pet and cuddle like he’s been waiting for it his whole life. He’s incredibly gentle, never hisses or growls, and is happiest when he's purring softly or giving the cutest little meows to say hello. Renault is still adjusting to the comforts of indoor life, so he's looking for a calm, quiet home where he can continue to feel safe and blossom at his own pace. Loud noises and fast movements can startle him, and while he's curious about other cats, he's just as content being the center of your world. A feline friend would be welcome, but not required.

Due to his shy nature, Renault would do best in a home without young children or energetic dogs. If you're searching for a sweet, loyal cuddle bug who just wants a cozy couch, gentle pets, and a lifetime of love, Renault might just be your perfect match.
