Renault is genuinely one of the most loving boys we've ever had in rescue! Approx 2-3 years old and a small 8 lbs, Renault was rescued from an overpopulated colony where he spent every day of his life scrounging for food, avoiding moving farm equipment, and dodging bullets (literally). Despite all of this, Renault CRAVES human attention and affection. Though he's cautious when you first meet him, once you put your hands on Renault, he wants nothing more than endless pets and cuddles. He's gentle, respectful, and lets you pet and brush him all over. We've never heard a hiss or growl out of Renault - the only sound that comes from him is his soft purr that he's working on developing!

Renault is looking for a forever home that is relatively quiet, since he's still getting comfortable being an indoor kitty. Renault is very observant and at the moment - cautious around loud noises and the dogs he sees from a distance. Having grown up with other cats, he's likely do fine with a feline buddy - but he's so focused on his people he'd also be okay as a solo cat. We do think Renault would be best best suited to a quieter home without young children. If you're looking for a couch buddy cuddle bug, look no further than Renault!
