Hello, there! I'm Lennie, and I'd like to share my journey with you.
At the tender age of 7, I sadly found myself without a home, as my previous family couldn't provide the specialized care I required due to my diagnosis of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Thankfully, my really nice vet took me in to care for me, and reached out to Redemption Road Rescue to try to find me a new family.
Then comes the good news.... ready for it? Thanks to a new diet and a gradually reducing dosage of steroids, I'm responding remarkably well to treatment that my vet is giving me!
Now, let me tell you about the things that bring joy to my life. I enjoy striking up conversations, making friends (with humans, dogs, and cats alike!), gazing out the window to watch the world go by, and, of course, indulging in some quality relaxation time.
I'm known for being quite polite and friendly and I'm truly hoping to find a loving family to call my own. Just a little heads up, though – I'll need prescription food for the long term to keep me healthy and happy. I'm TOTALLY worth it though, I promise!!
